Joe Schoorl

Joe Schoorl has extensive experience in trade compliance and international relations. From September 2012 to October 2018, Joe worked as an Associate in the Outbound Trade Group at Baker McKenzie, following a series of internships, including positions at the Wisconsin Project on Nuclear Arms Control and the U.S. Department of Commerce. Joe also gained valuable legal experience as a Summer Associate at Baker McKenzie and a Law Clerk at the Congressional Research Service. Currently, Joe serves as Export Compliance Counsel at Google, a position held since November 2018. Joe holds a Bachelor of Arts in History with a focus on U.S. Foreign Relations from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Doctor of Law degree from The George Washington University Law School.
