John Alioto

John Alioto has extensive experience in technology and leadership roles across various companies. As CTO at VeriTainer from April 2007 to May 2010, John developed machine learning software and hardware for security applications in transportation. Subsequently, John served as Chief Evangelist at Viv Labs until its acquisition by Samsung in January 2021, then became Director at Samsung Research America, focusing on community and technical solutions in conversational assistants and generative AI. Currently, John holds the position of Startup Evangelist at Google Cloud, where efforts are directed toward empowering startups. Previous roles include Director of .NET Solutions at Avanade, and various positions at Microsoft, including Architect and CTO of the West Region DPE. John Alioto holds a degree from the University of California, Berkeley.
