John Collins

John Collins serves as the Vice Chair and a member of the Board of Trustees at Kirby School and holds the position of Principal Technical Program Manager at Google since May 2019, specializing in machine learning infrastructure governance within the ML, Systems & Cloud AI organization. Prior roles at Google included leadership positions in various technical program management roles and contributions to the founding of the Google Global Networking leadership team. Earlier experience includes directorship at Facebook in Technical Program Management for data infrastructure and significant roles at Microsoft, where Collins contributed to service performance and innovation in Windows Live Mail Operations. Educational credentials include dual MBAs from the University of California, Berkeley, and Columbia Business School, along with a B.S. in Molecular & Cell Biology from the University of Connecticut.
