John Connor McLaughlin is an experienced manager in the cybersecurity field, currently leading the Mandiant Detection Engineering Team at Google since November 2022, where the focus is on detection operations for Mandiant Intelligence. Prior to this role, John managed teams at Mandiant and Recorded Future, and held various research positions at MIT Lincoln Laboratory. John possesses a strong educational background with a Master of Science in Information Security and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, both from Florida State University. Additional experience includes leadership as President of the Cybersecurity Club and managing financial assets as Treasurer for the FSU Scuba Club.
