John Cyprus

John Cyprus is an accomplished cybersecurity professional with significant experience in various organizations. At Tufts Technology Services, John served as a Cybersecurity Intern, developing an in-house security information aggregation and analysis tool using the Elastic Stack. Subsequently, John excelled as a Cybersecurity Engineer II at MITRE, focusing on ICS/OT cybersecurity with expertise in network security, cyber threat intelligence, and incident response, while also contributing to prominent teams like ATT&CK for ICS and EMB3D. John has presented at notable conferences, including DEF CON and NIST. Additionally, John held leadership roles in cybersecurity at Tufts University, including serving as President of the first cybersecurity lab and teaching classes on software exploitation and cyber policy. John is currently employed as a Network Security Engineer at Google. John holds dual degrees from Tufts University, a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations.
