John Goerzen is a seasoned professional in site reliability engineering and software development with extensive experience across various companies in the tech industry. Currently serving as Lead of Site Reliability Engineering at MongoDB, John manages networking for the Atlas database system. Previous roles include Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Google Cloud Platform, Staff Software Engineer at Watchful, and Staff Engineer at Fastly. With a long-standing commitment to the Debian project since 1997, John has contributed to package maintenance and architecture porting.
