Beginning as a carpenter from 1997 to 2005, John transitioned into engineering roles, serving as a Commissioning and Support Engineer at Siemens AG. A significant tenure at Google included positions such as Team Lead for the EMEA Transport team and Senior Transport Design Engineer, where responsibilities involved planning and designing the global optical backbone. John also held roles as Technical Program Manager and TPM Lead for EMEA WAN capacity, focusing on planning and delivering connectivity solutions.
