Johnny Hong

Johnny Hong is a Staff Data Scientist at Google, where they apply their extensive experience in data science to tackle large-scale, real-world problems. Previously, they served as a Data Scientist, delivering insights that saved significant machine resources in Google Search and developing critical metrics for maintaining the Google Index. Johnny held various roles in data science internships at companies such as Facebook, Quora, and Adobe, and they were a Graduate Student Instructor at UC Berkeley's Department of Statistics. Johnny earned a PhD in Statistics from the University of California, Berkeley, after completing a double major in Applied Mathematics and Statistics at the University of California, Davis.
