Jon Ford has extensive experience in cybersecurity and law enforcement, with a career spanning over three decades. Ford served as Director and Managing Director at Mandiant (now part of Google Cloud) from October 2018 to December 2020 and continued as Senior Practice Leader until January 2025. Prior to these roles, Ford held multiple positions at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) from January 2009 to July 2011, including Unit Chief in the Special Technologies & Applications, Advanced Concepts Unit, and served as a Supervisory Special Agent in the San Antonio, Texas Area. Ford's law enforcement career began at the Austin Police Department as a Detective. Ford holds a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from Boston University and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from St. Edward's University, both with a 4.0 GPA. Additional educational credentials include participation in an Executive Leadership Program at Northwestern University and a course on Cybersecurity at Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government. Currently, Ford leads Google Public Sector Services for State, Local, and Education.
