Arm Server Architect

Jon Masters is an accomplished Arm Server Architect at Google since September 2021, leading efforts in Arm server architecture and software ecosystems. Previous positions include Distinguished Engineer at Red Hat, where significant contributions were made to Arm server and automotive architecture, and Vice President of Software at NUVIA Inc., a high-performance Arm server startup. Jon’s extensive experience at Red Hat spanned over a decade, where roles included Computer Architect and Chief Arm Architect, focused on high-performance micro-architecture and building the Red Hat Arm team. Early career experience involved embedded engineering at Liberte Software, Linux engineering roles at Oxford Instruments and Resonance Instruments, and serving as Technical Editor for Linux User & Developer. Jon holds a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Nottingham and has continued education at Oxford Brookes University.
