Jonas Bylander is a highly accomplished physics researcher with extensive experience in academia and industry. Currently serving as a Staff Research Scientist at Google since October 2025, Bylander has been a faculty member at Chalmers University of Technology since January 2013, holding roles from Assistant Professor to Professor. Prior to this, Bylander co-founded Atlantic Quantum, where a Managing Director role was held from March 2022 to November 2025. Experience includes work as a Research Scientist and Postdoctoral Associate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, focusing on superconducting devices for quantum computation and achieving world-record performance. Bylander's academic journey began with a PhD at Chalmers University of Technology, where groundbreaking research on electronic transport in nano-electronic devices was conducted.
