Jonathan Clark

Jonathan Clark is a Research Scientist at Google DeepMind, where they focus on machine learning for all human languages, currently working on Gemini multilinguality. Previously, Jonathan served as a Principal Scientist at Microsoft from 2013 to 2018, contributing to Microsoft Translator's development. Prior to that role, Jonathan was a Senior Software Engineer at Safaba Translation Solutions from 2010 to 2013, where they built infrastructure for machine translation systems. Jonathan's earlier experience includes an internship in machine translation at Language Computer from 2006 to 2007. Jonathan completed education at Carnegie Mellon University, where they attended from 2007 to 2015.
