Jose Bonilla has extensive experience in education and recruitment, beginning as a Senior Legislative Intern at the Texas House of Representatives in 2010 and a Senate Messenger for the Texas Senate in 2008. Jose served as a Teacher Leadership Coach and a 2nd Grade Dual Language Teacher with Teach For America, where a commitment to closing the opportunity gap led to significant student development goals. Following this, Jose transitioned to IDEA Public Schools as a Talent Recruiter before joining Google as a Technical Recruiter, focusing on sourcing and engaging candidates. At Teach For America, Jose was also a Regional Recruitment Manager, responsible for strategizing recruitment campaigns and analyzing their effectiveness. Jose holds a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from The University of Texas at Austin.
