Joseph Spero is a Principal Incident Response Consultant at Google, having pursued a career fueled by a passion for information security, technology, gaming, and drones. A graduate of Illinois State University with a dual concentration in Cyber Security and Criminal Justice Sciences, Spero began their career as an Analyst in Corporate Cyber Security at Country Financial before gaining extensive experience at Abbott Laboratories and AbbVie. At AbbVie, they served as the primary escalation point for Tier 3 Cyber Security incidents, followed by a pivotal role at Chime, where Spero built a Cyber Security Incident Response program. Currently, they continue to develop cutting-edge incident response strategies within the fast-growing FinTech sector.
