Joshua Moore

Joshua Moore is a highly skilled mechanical engineer with extensive experience in product design and development, particularly in the fields of optoelectronics and consumer technology. At Finisar, Joshua served as the lead mechanical designer for high-volume transceiver platforms, achieving significant revenue increases through technical design wins. In a subsequent role at North, Joshua contributed to the development of wearable technology, specifically leading the mechanical systems architecture for the Focals smart glasses. Currently serving as a Staff Product Design Engineer at Google, Joshua is focused on AR/VR product design. Additionally, Joshua has entrepreneurial experience with multiple venture startups and holds both a Bachelor and Master of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
