Joy Yang

Joy Yang is an Associate Principal in Trust and Safety who has developed a diverse background in research and education. They completed a PhD in Computational and Systems Biology at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology after earning a BA in Statistics from the University of California, Berkeley. Joy's experience includes roles as a Senior Analyst at Google, a research assistant studying brachytherapy at the University of California, San Francisco, and serving as a Youth Clinic Coordinator for The Suitcase Clinic. They have also contributed to academia by teaching STEM workshops and tutoring students in mathematics.
