Juan Gao

Juan (Joanne) Gao is a data scientist and analytics manager at Google, where they lead a team focused on data and machine learning across various Google platforms. Prior to this role, they served as a senior data scientist at Netflix, contributing significantly to recommender systems and causal inference methodologies. With academic roots in neuroscience and neural networks from Princeton University, Juan (Joanne) has also held positions as an assistant professor at Syracuse University and a research associate at Stanford University.
