Julia Barrett has a robust background in user experience research and design, with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Starting as Director of User Experience at Bolt Peters from 2003 to 2007, Julia then served as Research & Development Manager at Adaptive Path until 2010. Subsequently, Julia held the position of Director of Customer Insight at EffectiveUI from 2011 to 2016. Following that, Julia joined Google, initially as a Senior User Experience Researcher from 2016 to 2022, and then advanced to Staff User Experience Researcher in April 2022. Julia earned a degree in Cognitive Science with a focus on Human-Computer Interaction from the University of California, San Diego, in 2003.
