Julian Killingback

Julian Killingback is an experienced data science and machine learning professional with a diverse background in research and software development. At Lowe's Companies, Inc., Julian served as a Graduate Intern in Data Science. Prior experience includes roles as a Student IT Consultant and Research Assistant at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where focus was on building machine learning models and conducting research on ultra-wide band radar. At MassMutual, Julian worked as a Software Developer, enhancing chatbot functionality and user interfaces. As an Undergraduate Student Researcher at Florida Atlantic University, research efforts concentrated on mobile sensing for smart cities. Currently, Julian holds the position of Machine Learning Engineer and Applied Researcher at Tonita, and works as a Student Researcher at Google while pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science with a focus on Information Retrieval at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
