Jun Xu is a software engineer with a strong background in both API development and physics research. At DITTO from April 2018 to February 2021, Jun designed and implemented scalable API and backend services and contributed to the productization of 3D reconstruction and rendering algorithms. Since February 2021, Jun has been developing low-level APIs for TensorFlow at Google. Prior to industry experience, Jun served as a postdoctoral scholar at the University of California, Riverside, from October 2017 to April 2018, focusing on precise measurements of the Casimir force and mentoring graduate students. Jun holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Science and Technology of China and a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of California, Riverside.
