Jun Yan

Jun Yan is currently a Senior Research Scientist at Google, where they conduct research focused on enhancing the agentic capabilities, safety, and robustness of Large Language Models, particularly Gemini. Jun Yan previously held research intern positions at Samsung Research America and Meta, contributing to the Knowledge and Dialogue and Language Understanding and Question Answering teams, respectively. They also completed an Applied Scientist internship at Amazon, working with the Product Graph team. Academically, Jun Yan earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronic, and Communications Engineering from Tsinghua University, followed by a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Southern California, where they are also pursuing a PhD in the same field.
