Junji Hase is a highly experienced design professional with a robust background in creative leadership and branding. Junji began a career in design at Pentagram as a Design Assistant and then advanced to a similar role at Matsumoto Inc. From 1999 to 2003, Junji worked at Landor, progressing to Sr. Designer. Junji held the title of Sr. Designer at Imagination in 2003 before transitioning to Apple Inc. as an Art Director, a position held until 2016. Following self-employment as a Freelance Art Director and Graphic Designer, Junji served as Creative Director for Amazon Japan from 2017 to 2021 and then as Head of Brand Innovation Lab Japan at Amazon Ads until 2024. Currently, Junji is the Creative Development Lead for Creative Works at Google, starting in 2025. Junji earned a BFA in Communication Design from Pratt Institute.
