Justin Basilico

Justin Basilico is an experienced professional in machine learning and recommendation systems, with a solid foundation in both research and engineering. Early career experience includes a student internship at The Aerospace Corporation, followed by a research assistant role at Brown University focusing on machine learning techniques for recommender systems. Subsequent positions at Sandia National Laboratories included leading the development of the Cognitive Foundry and researching incremental machine learning algorithms. Justin Basilico's tenure at Netflix involved various leadership roles, including Research/Engineering Manager and Director, where responsibilities encompassed the development of machine learning algorithms for personalizing content for a global user base. Currently serving as Principal Engineer at Google, Justin Basilico continues to contribute to advancements in the field.
