Juvenal Chu is an experienced professional in optical design and hardware engineering, currently serving as the Director of Hardware Engineering at Google since November 2021. With previous roles at Huawei Enterprise from February 2014 to April 2021 as a Display/Touch System Architect and Procurement Expert, and at Apple Inc. from December 2010 to January 2014 as a Sr. Display Design Engineer, Juvenal has extensive expertise in LCD display design and procurement engineering. Earlier experience includes managing optical design at CMI from March 2010 to October 2010 and serving as a Sr. Optical Designer at Unipac (Ex-AUO) from March 1999 to February 2001. Juvenal holds a Master's degree in Nuclear Science, Electro-Optics from National Tsing Hua University, completed between 1993 and 1996.
