Kai Althaus

Kai Althaus is a legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law, M&A, privacy, and cybersecurity. Kai began the career as a Legal Practice Intern at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP in Shanghai and gained valuable expertise during a Legal Research Internship at the Sino-German Institute for Legal Studies. Subsequently, roles included Associate positions at Allen & Overy LLP and Hogan Lovells, focusing on competition law and privacy respectively. Currently, Kai serves as Head of Cloud Legal Benelux at Google, with a strong background in international relations from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Germany.
