Kaiyu Yan

Kaiyu Yan is an accomplished software engineer with a solid background in capacity engineering and ECU design. With experience as a Performance and Capacity Engineer Intern at Facebook, Kaiyu contributed to performance and capacity projects by designing internal management tools. Since April 2015, Kaiyu has been a Software Engineer at Google, working on the Identity and Authentication team, focusing on next-generation authentication systems and serving as the Tech Lead for the iOS Smart Lock app. Early career experience includes an internship at Continental within the ECU design team, contributing to the development of ECU chips for Chrysler vehicles. Kaiyu holds a BSE in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and has two degrees from the University of Michigan, including a Master of Science in Computer Science and Engineering and a BSE in Computer Engineering.
