Kangmin Lee is an accomplished semiconductor and low-power system-on-chip (SoC) architect with extensive experience in power management and architecture design. Starting at Samsung Electronics from April 2006 to October 2012 as a Senior Engineer, Kangmin focused on power management for SoC design, proposing power budgets for various network technologies. Kangmin continued to enhance skills at Qualcomm between November 2012 and April 2016, progressing from Staff Engineer to Principal Engineer, where responsibilities included micro-architecture design, dynamic voltage and frequency scaling (DVFS) control, and developing innovative power management schemes. Currently, Kangmin serves as an ASIC Power Architect at Google since August 2022, concentrating on power optimization for Tensor processing. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. and a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, complemented by a Bachelor's degree from the same institution.
