Karen Chiu

Karen Chiu (Chai) has a strong background in mechanical engineering and extensive professional experience, beginning as a Teaching Assistant at UCLA from March 2010 to June 2011. Following this role, Karen gained valuable engineering experience at NextGen Aeronautics from August 2011 to August 2013, serving as both an Engineer and an Engineering Intern. Transitioning to Google in September 2013, Karen held several roles including Channels Specialist, Solutioneer, Analyst, and People Analytics Manager, ultimately advancing to Insights Lead for Hiring Equity Strategy & Programs and Channels Sourcing Account Manager before March 2014. Karen holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering, both from the University of California, Los Angeles.
