Karla Palmer

Karla Palmer is an AI and Science Fellow at Black Women in Executive Leadership (B-WEL) since 2023. They previously held the position of Manager at Google.org in 2022 and served as a Policy Specialist and Associate at the same organization. Karla gained valuable experience as a Pathways Paralegal at the U.S. Department of Justice from 2018 to 2019 and as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in 2018. They completed a legislative internship with the U.S. House of Representatives in 2016. Karla is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science with a minor in Business Administration at American University, along with participating in the CET Student Exchange Program at Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo.
