Katherine Heller

Katherine Heller is a Research Scientist at Google since September 2018, with prior experience as an Assistant Professor in Statistical Science at Duke University from August 2012 to September 2018. Heller's academic career includes a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Brain and Cognitive Sciences at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from January 2011 to July 2012, and a Machine Learning Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Cambridge from February 2008 to December 2010. Heller earned a PhD in Machine Learning from University College London (UCL) in April 2008, an MS in Computer Science from Columbia University in 2003, and a BS in Computer Science with a focus on Applied Math and Stats from Stony Brook University in 2000.
