Katherine Lai is an experienced firmware engineer currently working at Samsara since October 2019, following a tenure at Intel Corporation from December 2017 to July 2019, where responsibilities included developing and maintaining system algorithms and firmware for NAND management. Prior to this, Katherine served as a hardware engineer at Oracle for two years, focusing on full-chip verification for SPARC processors. Early in their career, Katherine held positions as a product development engineering intern at Intel Corporation and as a teaching assistant at Caltech. Internship experiences at Raytheon and undergraduate research involving biodiesel at Caltech further contributed to Katherine's diverse technical background. Katherine earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Caltech in 2015.
