Katia Jacoby is an experienced technology professional currently serving as an Executive Member of Staff and Teaching Assistant at CS Kickstart, where curriculum development for a Python camp and student engagement initiatives are primary responsibilities. Concurrently, Katia is involved with the Codebase@Berkeley student organization, focused on software project development, and has recently worked as a Software Engineer at Seacology and Amazon, contributing to web development and data processing projects. In addition to technical roles, Katia has served as a Computer Science Tutor, facilitating programming workshops for middle school students, and as a self-employed Piano Teacher. Currently, Katia holds a Software Engineer position at Google, enhancing open-source tools for database management. Katia is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at UC Berkeley College of Computing, Data Science, and Society, expected to graduate in 2028.
