Katie Swillinger

Katie (James) Swillinger has extensive experience in recruitment and people management, particularly within high-profile organizations. At Goldman Sachs, Katie served as a Firmwide Recruiter, managing campus recruitment at six prominent colleges along the east coast from December 2005 to November 2008. Following that role, work as an Engineering Campus Recruiter at Workforce Logic onsite at Google occurred from December 2009 to December 2010, and prior to that, Katie contributed to KCD Inc. as a Freelance PR Coordinator focused on New York City Fashion Week. Currently, as a Senior People Partner at Google since May 2021, Katie collaborates with senior leadership on strategic people activities, enhancing talent management and diversity strategies. Previous roles at Google included Head of Campus Outreach for North America and various managerial positions related to university programs and technical recruiting. Katie holds both a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University in Organizational Leadership and Human and Organizational Development, respectively.
