Kelly Schaefer

Kelly Schaefer is a seasoned product leader with extensive experience in driving innovation and growth across various technology sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Product & Domain Lead at Google Labs since May 2022, Kelly spearheads the development of AI and LLM products, including the award-winning NotebookLM. Previously, Kelly held the position of Business Lead (GM) of Payments Business at Stripe, managing P&L responsibilities and overseeing product development. Prior to that role, Kelly was the Head of Product for Growth at Google Workspace, where responsibilities included leading major applications such as Gmail and Google Drive, as well as managing Google Lens and AR/VR shopping initiatives. Kelly's career also includes a role as Business Design Lead at IDEO, where interdisciplinary teams were directed to innovate for diverse clients, and co-founding the meal kit company Easily. Education includes an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and an undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
