Kimberly Harvey

User Experience Researcher

Kimberly Harvey is a seasoned professional with diverse experience in program coordination, design, and user experience. Beginning as an Education Intern at El Museo del Barrio, Kimberly developed educational materials and led tours in both Spanish and English. At Island Harvest, roles included Program Coordinator, where over 60 volunteers were trained and 300 client interviews were managed for a significant national study on hunger. Further experience includes work as a Designer at the UPMC Technology Development Center, an Intern at Cooper-design, and a Flame/Inferno artist at Quiet Man creating digital effects for major clients. Kimberly pursued an MDes in Communication, Planning, and Information Design at Carnegie Mellon University. At Google, roles expanded to User Experience Researcher and Voice User Interface Designer, culminating in a current position as Senior UX Designer at Google DeepMind. Kimberly also held a position as a Photo Assistant at the Associated Press and earned a BA in Spanish from Emory University.
