Kris Hunt

Kris Hunt is a Senior Staff Security Engineer at Google, currently managing detection teams responsible for threat detection in Google's cloud environment. Previously, Kris held various roles at Symantec, including SOC Manager and Principal Services Manager, and served as a Security Administrator at the Reserve Bank of Australia. Kris has also worked as a Security Vulnerability Research Specialist at IBM Internet Security Systems and as a Senior Security Consultant at ITAC. Kris earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Mathematics from the University of Western Sydney and a Master of Information Systems Security with Distinction from Charles Sturt University.
