Kristine Chen is an accomplished Staff Software Engineer at Google since July 2012, currently focused on building seamless release infrastructure for the company. Previously, Kristine led a Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team dedicated to mobile application reliability and served in various software engineering roles within the SRE domain for Google mobile applications. Prior experience includes working as a Senior Programmer at UC Berkeley's SAIT, where development of Django and Perl web applications took place, and as an undergraduate student instructor for the CS 61BL data structures course. Kristine began a career at UC Berkeley's RSSP-IT as a programmer, creating web applications and managing large databases. Kristine holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
