Lalit Jain

Lalit Jain is an AI expert and machine learning researcher currently serving as a Staff Research Scientist at Google, where they focus on developing machine learning methods for adaptive experimentation. Previously, they held positions as an Amazon Visiting Academic, where they implemented adaptive experimentation tools for Amazon Prime, and as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Michigan, specializing in applying modern machine learning research to real-world applications. Lalit co-founded the mobile gaming company Seventh Harmonic and has demonstrated strong leadership skills through their work with Teach for America, where they significantly improved student outcomes. With an extensive programming background in languages such as Python, Java, and C++, Lalit has created impactful tools, including the open-source NextML system for adaptive data collection.
