Lawrence Su

Lawrence Su has a strong background in engineering and product management, with experience at notable companies such as the U.S. Department of Energy, Microsoft, Google, and Waymo. Initially working as an ML Engineering Intern focusing on nuclear nonproliferation and real-time AI fault detection, Lawrence subsequently contributed to computer vision and deep learning systems at ASML, and played key roles in autonomy products at Nuro. As a co-founder of Hardware FYI, Lawrence has also engaged in entrepreneurial endeavors. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from UC Santa Barbara and a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from UCLA. Current role involves product management within perception at Waymo.
