Lei “Ray” Zhao is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and management. Currently serving as a Software Engineering Manager in Ads Machine Learning SRE at Google since 2021, Lei leads a global team focused on developing and maintaining large-scale machine learning infrastructures for Google Ads, emphasizing ML reliability, efficiency, and safety. Previously, at PNC from 2015 to 2021, Lei managed the Corporate and Institutional Banking Innovations team, fostering a start-up culture to rapidly develop innovative banking products.
