Leigh Cormie

Leigh Cormie has extensive experience in the technology and semiconductor industries, holding various management and engineering roles. Cormie's career includes positions at International Rectifier as a Technical Product Line Manager and Automotive Systems Design Engineer from 2001 to 2004, and as a Business Manager at Maxim Integrated Products from 2004 to 2006. Following this, Cormie served as a Semiconductor Analyst at Wedbush Securities and transitioned into roles at Intersil Corporation, culminating as a Senior Technical Product Line Manager until 2012. Cormie later worked at Amazon Lab126 as a Platform Hardware Engineering and Program Manager from 2014 to 2016, before joining Google where responsibilities included Hardware Architecture, Platform and Power Manager, advancing to Product Manager for System Power in Android from May 2021 onwards. Academic qualifications include a BEng (Hons) from the University of Aberdeen and an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management.
