Leila Muhtasib

Leila Muhtasib is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and software development. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering for Google Maps on iOS and Android, Leila co-founded Teach A Class and is an active Board Member. Previous roles include Mobile Technical Lead, Sr. Software Engineer, and Software Engineer at Cisco Systems within the Sports and Entertainment division. Leila also contributed as a Technical Editor for Apress and gained initial experience as a System Administrator Intern at the University of Maryland, College Park. Leila holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland, earned between 2002 and 2006, and furthered professional development at Hacker School.
