Lena Young

Lena Young has extensive experience in talent engagement and recruitment, holding key positions at major organizations. At YouTube, Lena served as the Head of Staffing and Talent Engagement from April 2019 to December 2021. Previously, Lena worked at Google in various roles, including Head of Talent Strategy, Pathways, and Programs, Recruiting Lead, and Head of Global Online Staffing Strategy & Channels. Prior experience includes roles as Recruitment Manager, Regional Director of Recruitment, Managing Director of Recruitment, and being a Teach For America Corps Member from June 2009 to April 2011. Lena is currently a Board Member at Colorwave, beginning in November 2021, and has held the position of Global Co-Chair for the Black Googler Network from March 2020 to March 2021. Lena holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public and Private Sector Organizations from Brown University.
