Leo Wang has extensive experience in software and firmware engineering, beginning as a Firmware Engineer at Toshiba from 1995 to 1998. Following this, Leo worked as a Sr. Firmware Engineer at C-Cube Microsystems from 1999 to 2001, and then as a Sr. Application Engineer/Lead at ESS Technology from 2002 to 2005, where Leo developed MPEG 2 audio/video applications and led a team to produce a successful Digital Media Player. Leo's tenure at Global IP Solutions from 2005 to 2011 involved developing voice and video engines along with audio codecs. Since February 2011, Leo has been a Senior Software Engineer at Google, focusing on innovative features for the Assistant, including voice-triggering capabilities and media recommendations. Leo also briefly served as a Staff Software Engineer at Sony Electronics during 2001-2002.
