Lijun Mao

Lijun Mao is a Staff Software Engineer at Google, where they lead efforts in optimizing YouTube search latency and resource management. With previous experience as a Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer at the same company, they have played a key role in developing the Search-In-Video feature and robust serving frameworks for handling billions of queries. Lijun holds a Master of Science in Engineering in Electrical Engineering and a Master of Computer and Information Technology from the University of Pennsylvania, where they graduated in May 2018. Prior to that, they earned a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Shanghai Jiaotong University.
