Lijun Xia

Lijun Xia is a highly experienced software engineer and data scientist with a strong background in statistical analysis and software development. Early professional experience includes a role as Statistical Intern at DuPont, where Lijun Xia organized and cleaned experimental data, performed statistical testing, and developed processes for data analysis using SAS SQL. Subsequently, at Bloomberg LP, Lijun Xia contributed as a software developer in various areas, including the Ticketing system for FICC and over-the-counter derivatives. Since joining Google, Lijun Xia has advanced from Software Engineer to Senior Software Engineer, focusing on the development of Dialogflow, a natural language understanding platform. Lijun Xia holds a Ph.D. in geoscience from The Johns Hopkins University, a Master’s degree in Statistics from the University of Delaware, and a Bachelor’s degree in Earth and Space Science from the University of Science and Technology of China.
