Lillian Xu

Lillian (Yuyan) Xu is a seasoned mixed-methods behavioral researcher with extensive experience across various academic and industry settings. Currently a Mixed-Methods Behavioral Researcher at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Lillian has successfully led longitudinal behavioral data analysis and designed national recruitment strategies. Prior experience includes working as a Mixed-Method User Experience Researcher at Google, focusing on user personas for the Parental Control App, and conducting qualitative UX research. Lillian's research journey began at the University of Washington, examining trauma's impact on learning, followed by significant contributions at Teachers College, Columbia University, where immersive physiological responses were analyzed. Lillian holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Developmental Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, along with a Master's degree in Educational Assessment from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Jinan University.
