Lin Xu

Lin Xu has extensive experience in software engineering, with a significant tenure at Google since December 2011, specializing in various aspects of software development. Prior to Google, Lin Xu worked at IBM from January 2005 to December 2011, contributing to the development of BigInsights focused on text analysis, mining, and data injection on Hadoop. Lin Xu also played leadership roles in projects related to DB2 InfoSphere Data Warehousing and served as a developer for the Optim Performance Manager. Initial experience includes a role as an Engineering Intern at ABB Inc in 2003, focused on power grid monitoring and control software. Lin Xu holds a Ph.D. and a Master of Science from Washington State University, an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Science from Southeast University.
