Long Jin is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and machine learning. Currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer at Google since July 2022, Long previously held the position of Research Scientist at Facebook AI from June 2016 to July 2022, focusing on the development of advanced machine learning models for major products like Ads and Instagram. Prior to these roles, Long was a Research Intern at NEC Research Labs America during the summer of 2014. Long holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science from UC San Diego and a Master's degree in Electronic Engineering from Tsinghua University.
