Lorenz Jakober

Lorenz Jakober is an experienced product marketing leader currently serving as the Head of Product Marketing for Multi-cloud Security Products at Google Cloud since November 2021. In this role, Lorenz oversees a global team focused on enhancing perception, acquisition, engagement, and advocacy for multi-cloud security solutions. Prior to Google, Lorenz held various senior roles at Akamai Technologies from September 2012 to October 2021, including Senior Director of Product Marketing, where responsibilities included strategy oversight and go-to-market execution for significant product portfolios in security and edge computing. Earlier experience includes marketing positions at Compuware, Gomez, Nellymoser, and Estournal. Lorenz holds a Master's degree in Integrated Marketing Communication from Emerson College and a Bachelor's degree in International Communications from The American University of Paris.
